Wide Eyes Open Palms

(Grade A+) A constant A+, the chef is a magician, that’s all I should say. Service and kind hosts just make you want to order more. Wow, food here is so good, got a lot more than I could eat because I was curious. The cocotte was so good, I had to go back the next morning and took 2 people with us. Excellent coffee, the strawberry bread pudding (yumm) and apricot scone, amazing! The Ricotta and Peach on awesome Toast, good thing is available every day. The second day there was a Biscuit and eggs special, I wish was available every day. There’s a bit of a wait, but sooo worth it. You have to try it. I’m going there every time I’m in Long Beach. Update: I don’t really like breakfast how many times can you disguise eggs bacon and potato? WEOP is different, it’s almost like I’m eating lunch. Got a little too much as usual, everything is so good can’t decide. The only bad thing was that there was no bread pudding 🙁 again. Got the Fritatta, it was another great thing we got to try (I’ll post the picture). Thanks Angie and Kat for the great food. Update 9/2021: Haven’t been there since the darn pandemic. Decided were going to try to go this weekend–well it’s a drive from Pasadena to Long Beach just for breakfast, but I’m sure it’s going to be worth it. I’m fasting today so I can enjoy tomorrow 🙂
